The Southwest Parenting Academy’s flagship course, Building Effective Families, is being hailed as one of the most revolutionary, refreshing and effective approaches to parenting skills available on the market today. It is offered in two styles; one addressing the needs of concerned parents who recognise the value of self development and parent skills coaching and, the other, addressing the needs of agencies, working with children and their parents, who are required - or wish - to offer specialised help.

While most courses are held on a weekly basis in local venues over eight weeks, weekend courses in a number of venues are also being planned. Individual support and help is available through our personal consultation service, which offers parent coaching in the most convenient setting - face to face, by telephone, or with a web-cam link over the Internet.

The South West Parenting Academy, though recently established, draws on over forty years experience working with children and parents. Based in idyllic North Devon, it operates throughout the South West of England, and beyond.
